JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Fond du Lac Waterworks is accepting applications
for the position of a Limited Term Engineering Aide. This limited-term
full-time position reports directly to the Water Engineering Technician
II and will perform work in the field and the office in conjunction with
various municipal (civil) engineering projects. It is anticipated that
this work will be 40+ hours per week for the months of May through
August. Various duties and responsibilities include assisting with water
main and service installation inspection on construction projects and
private lead service replacements throughout the city. This person would
be responsible for completing daily inspection diaries, taking photos
and GPS shots as installation occurs along with working with the Water
Engineering Technician II on reports, computations, and field design
adjustments. The wage range for this position is \$15.00 to \$17.00 per

Qualifications include: knowledge of the technical methods and practices
of civil engineering and surveying; along with the ability to deal
courteously and tactfully with the public. Requirements include
graduation from high school or equivalent; excellent communication
skills; technical training and/or relevant experience in Civil
Engineering, Land Surveying, or public works construction is desired.
