Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. - Architect and implement learning frameworks that bridge the gap between cognitive science theory and daily classroom reality
- Orchestrate academic excellence through strategic oversight of Heads of Academics, ensuring consistent quality and measurable progress
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of our learning ecosystem, identifying critical improvement areas and designing targeted solutions
- Spearhead strategic planning and execution to keep all stakeholders laser-focused on accelerated learning outcomes
- Champion our revolutionary approach on the global stage, from industry conferences to government partnerships, catalyzing widespread educational reform
- Getting lost in isolated curriculum experiments that don't scale
- Creating theoretical research papers that gather dust instead of driving change
- Avoiding direct accountability by hiding behind organizational layers
- Making empty promises—we convince through proven results, not rhetoric

Basic Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or aligned field
- Demonstrated 7+ year track record of driving exceptional learning outcomes through academic or EdTech leadership
- Verified success in leveraging AI and technology to enhance learning velocity
- Established thought leadership presence through speaking engagements, publications, or advisory roles
- Expert-level performance management capabilities with a proven ability to elevate team standards
- Advanced proficiency in learning analytics and data-driven decision making
- Natural ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse educational stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial experience in founding or leading innovative educational ventures
- Proven ability to navigate complex educational landscapes across different cultures and regions
- Comprehensive understanding of mastery learning principles, particularly Bloom's 2 Sigma research
