Material Tester

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour

As a Material Tester, you will support our CM team. We anticipate that this role will be fulltime (4o hours) throughout the summer and then transition to part-time in the fall.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?

• Work within a team of construction managers, office managers, inspectors, testers and surveyors to successfully complete the construction of projects
• Perform field sampling and testing, and perform laboratory testing per UDOT and other agency procedures and processes
• Complete test reports and documentation per UDOT and other agency requirements for all testing performed
• Work alongside UDOT construction crews or other agency construction management personnel in an augmentation role
  
  

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

• 0-2 years of experience
• Certification under American Concrete Institute (ACI) as Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I, preferred
• Certification under WAQTC SRDT guidelines for Sampling and Density (SRDT)
• Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and multi-
• Willingness to work either day or night shift discipline team members.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
