We invite full-time inventory & purchasing professionals to join our team in Union, NJ for our 6:00 am - 1:30 pm shift, M-F.

Are you a detail-oriented negotiator capable of running a tight ship? Bonus points if you know about parts in the home services space, with a focus on plumbing, electrical or HVAC.

As we scale our operations to over 150+ technicians in the next few years, we envision this role will grow into a pivotal cornerstone of our warehouse.

• You understand the operations involved in job costing and can help minimize overspending while keeping your data organized.
• You've negotiated discounts on bulk purchases from suppliers and maintained accurate inventory in tools like ServiceTitan or Titanium.
  
  

What Will You Do?

First off, you will commit to delivering an exceptional warehouse experience. Always.

You'll be the main point of contact for all of our technicians' parts needs, across all departments.

You will establish great relationships with our vendors and supply houses, ensuring we get great deals and priority shipping.

You will need to ensure everyone is held accountable to the buying process and that no shortcuts are taken (for example, you shouldn't be doing the research on behalf of technicians).

Physical Demands/Working Conditions - All Trades and Warehouse Departments

To perform the duties of this job, you are regularly expected to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop hands to finger, handle controls, hear, and talk. You must be able to reach with your hands and arms, climb ladders, and work in hot/cold environments such as crawl spaces. You will regularly lift 50+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment can vary depending on the season and scope of work - you will be expected to be outside throughout multiple seasons.
