Job Summary
Manages an assigned product category to meet customer and Company objectives by executing the long term vision and short term strategies handed down by the Orgill executive team through the Sr. Purchasing Manager.

Manages an assigned product category to meet customer and Company objectives by executing the long term vision and short term strategies handed down by the Orgill executive team through the Sr. Purchasing Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Places replenishment and promotional orders as necessary to ensure category financial objectives are met, especially service level, turnover, and inventory management.
- Monitors individual distribution center SKU productivity as it pertains to assigned product category and takes action towards improving inventory performance. Works with merchandising counterparts to ensure new items and promotions are properly executed.
- Responsible for the development of the associate manager assigned to the category. Leads by example through training and coaching.
- Responsible for expediting vendor freight whenever necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
- Regular on-site attendance
- Advanced knowledge of and ability in using various software replenishment applications and Excel.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives with little or no supervision, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical abilities with ability to review facts and weigh options when solving problems and making decisions.
- Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
- Ability to organize materials, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor Degree in a business-related area
- Three to five years of experience in warehouse replenishment
- Must be willing to travel to Company Dealer Markets and other Company related functions as needed- requirements may vary.
