Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Software Engineer. Full remote work option will be considered for well qualified candidate currently residing anywhere in USA. Preferred locations: Beachwood, Ohio ; Southfield, MI or Menomonee Falls, WI.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

Job Description
As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing applications, as well as integrating AI/ML solutions. You will be tasked with implementing robust data transformation workflows to ensure high performance and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate on setting best practices for data integration, security, and governance in Palantir based manufacturing applications.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing applications, and integration solutions.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using various programming languages and frameworks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Monitoring and optimizing software performance to ensure it meets user expectations.
- Collaborate on setting best practices for data management, security, and governance in Palantir environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Palantir data platforms and systems.
- Support and maintain the full lifecycle of Palantir's data tools and related services.
- Ensure compliance with data protection protocols.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and deep learning, and evaluate their potential applications
- Develop testing and validation strategies to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and safety of Generative AI models in production.
- The ability to anticipate business needs and provide development direction / prioritization to non-technical users

Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
- Minimum of 3 year's experience with artificial intelligence data science, machine learning engineering, or data analytics.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with implementing, testing, and fielding automation artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to work independently and have knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Good team player, self-motivating, and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with the latest Generative AI models, including a general understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
- Good understanding of Data Integration technologies.
- Good understanding of API-First architecture.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps processes.
- Must be able to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Prior experience working with Manufacturing applications is an added advantage
