Impact

The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing and brand awareness initiatives, to drive growth and engagement. This role assists with campaign creation, sponsorship coordination, and reporting on marketing performance.

Responsibilities

Assists the Marketing & Communications Manager, and other functions of the Marketing Department as needed, with the implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the business targets for the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in the development, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns and programs across all relevant channels, including but not limited to digital, social media, email, print and events.
  • Assist in the management of social media accounts by scheduling posts, managing engagement, and reporting on results.
  • Assist with event planning, including but not limited to webinars, internal events and town halls.
  • Provides administrative and project management support and assistance for the Marketing Department by managing internal and external inquiries.
  • Organizes and maintains records of advertisements, marketing files, materials and brand assets. produced for all media types.
  • Provides content and editing assistance for various Ponce Bank channels including, but not limited to traditional (brochures, flyers, presentations) and digital channels including social media, website, branch monitors and Ponce Radio.
  • Assists the programming and scheduling of inserts and notices in the Statement Advantage system.
  • Maintains user access and monitoring of customer survey systems.
  • Collaborates and assists in the design and development of marketing materials as needed for various media types.
  • Research product, service and market trendsAssists with vendor management; , accounts payable
  • Manages inventory for promotional and marketing items and coordinates their distribution.
  • Assists with vendor coordination, such as printers, media agencies, and freelance partners.
  • Assists with keeping personnel informed of pertinent policies or procedures affecting the Marketing Department.
  • Attend Marketing driven and community engagement events to ensure brand is represented.

Mandatory Training Curricula

  • Assures adherence to Bank policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Provides cross-functional support to other areas of the department and the Bank where service or assistance is needed.
  • Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Mandatory Training Curricula

Training is required of all Bank staff as related to regulatory mandated compliance topics and courses required for specific job functions. Career enhancement training courses are also available. Please refer to course catalog and management for details.

Skills

  • Clearly communicates in English, and Spanish is helpful;
  • Advanced reading, writing and grammar
  • Advanced interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Basic knowledge of banking marketing policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic software - Adobe, Canva
  • Basic project management experience
  • Basic knowledge of products and services;
  • Intermediate knowledge of marketing concepts and strategies;
  • Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office software skills.

Physical Demands

The physical and related demands described in this section are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job is mostly sedentary in nature, but may occasionally involve lifting files and other materials that weigh up to 20 lbs. Employees in this job must be able to work in an office environment during regular business hours where they come into regular and frequent contact with internal and external customers and other members of the public. Therefore, employees in this position are expected to have consistently positive interactions with the public.

Education/Training

An Associate's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.

Experience

A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in related positions normally required.

Salary Range

$46,000 - $52,000
