Who We Are Looking For

The Experiential Designer’s role is to support the creative team in developing spatial, environmental, graphic and digital design solutions. You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary team, contributing fresh ideas, technical skills, and a collaborative spirit to create immersive, brand-driven experiences.

You are a designer who is energized by the process of creating, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and balances creative vision with practical execution. You are confident sharing ideas and taking initiative, but approach feedback with humility—seeing every challenge as a chance to grow. You bring curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to explore beyond your comfort zone—whether that’s visual storytelling, user experiences, interiors, or branded environments.

Successful candidates come from diverse backgrounds—whether it’s Experiential Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Scenic Design, or UI/UX Design—but you don’t need to check every box. We value designers who bring curiosity, cross-disciplinary thinking, and a willingness to explore new creative territories.

Experience

ABOUT YOU:

  • A well-designed portfolio showcasing process, conceptual design, graphic design, space planning, renderings, and/or materials selection for interiors or experiential spaces.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Comfort working under guidance on mid- and large-sized projects, collaborates with senior designers.
  • Demonstrated engagement with clients on design intent, taking part in presentations.
  • Experience executing designs within defined boundaries, while exploring unique approaches and pushing creative boundaries.
  • History of executing assigned tasks on time and within the parameters of a creative vision or strategy.

Skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Preferred exposure to 3D Design Tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or CAD equivalent). Proficiency with presentation tools (Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint).
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to perform insightful research, generate new ideas, and integrate brand stories into multi-dimensional environments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to work effectively within a team and present ideas.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design execution, from visual elements to technical accuracy.
  • Passion for Learning: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinking and a solutions-oriented approach to addressing project challenges.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute visual concepts, mood boards, sketches, graphics, models and renderings at varying scales.
  • Conduct base research on materials, industry trends, and experiential design inspiration to inform creative solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to challenge conventional thinking, explore fresh creative approaches, and develop innovative design solutions—all while ensuring designs align with project goals and standards.
  • Prepare client-facing presentations, including slide layout, renderings, diagrams, and mockups.
  • Receive moderate guidance from our Creative Directors and Design Directors, who provide vision, feedback, and mentorship to support your development. You’ll also work alongside a team of multidisciplinary designers and thinkers, pushing each other toward creative excellence.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Motion Design (After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.)
  • Rendering (Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, etc.)
  • UI/UX or Collaboration Tools (Miro, Figjam etc.)
  • Hand Sketching (Traditional or Digital)

WORKPLACE

  • Salary of $65,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
  • Based in Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%)

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in San Francisco, New York City, Charlotte, or Nashville. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
