The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Director, Creative Talent Development, and Inclusion (CTDI). You will drive initiatives that connect ATL creative talent with diverse stories to opportunities across Disney Entertainment (DET) This person will report directly into the VP, CTDI and strategically partner with all lines of business to enable the most inclusive content and creative culture in direct partnership with our teams.

- Develop and oversee multiple standing talent initiatives which identified and recommend creative voices to program leadership for all DE Television pilots and series.
- Partner with producers and executives to identify creative talent at all levels for opportunities across DET.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams across the company and in the wider external community.
- Have a blended knowledge to support the media objectives of the team.
- Create and maintain relationships that support talent placement and professional development pipeline.
- Taking the lead on special projects for the CTDI team as needed.
- Provide thoughtful leadership and partnership in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Manage team of direct report(s).
- 5+ years in media and entertainment, with an established track record of championing equity, and inclusive story telling.
- Prior work experience as a Creative Exec/Current/Development or comparable.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership with the ability to motivate performance.
- Strong working knowledge of business and creative aspects of development.
- Must stay updated with current trends in talent acquisition for the entertainment industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management and stakeholders.
- Self-directed individual who is assertive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, high-energy environment.
- Collaborative team member who works well with others.
- Prior work experience championing equity, and inclusion.
- Experience in sourcing and hiring a ATL Staff on all levels.
- Strong relationships within the creative community – executives, agents, writers, producers, etc.
- Background in creative, technology, leadership.
- Basic blended knowledge of media best practices to interface with our media departments.
- Knowledge of analytics and Air Table is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
