Job Description

Develop and implement software for an Arduino microcontroller.

Create a USB interface to handle approximately 20 SCPI (skippy) commands from a PC, including text string commands and acknowledgments.

Program a dozen registers on the FPGA through the Arduino.

Design and execute SPI communication protocols within the Arduino environment.

Develop a command interface to run SPI communication, program registers, and manage a state machine.

Interface with an AD converter to retrieve values and ensure proper communication with the FPGA.

Initiate and monitor the state machine within the FPGA using the Arduino microcontroller.

Serve as the intermediary between the FPGA and the host PC

Skills And Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a Microcontroller Programmer
  • Experience developing and implementing software for an Arduino microcontroller
  • Design experience with SPI communication protocols
  • State machine experience null
