Description

The Aveda New Business Associate is responsible for engaging salons and stylists across various social channels. This person will utilize social channels to engage with stylists and salon owners, to build positive relationships, and introduce them to Aveda’s offerings and make the connection with the Aveda Brand. Collaborating with Sales and Education, the New Business Associate will ensure cohesive brand experience and optimize strategies to build new business leads for the Aveda Salon Channel.

  • Leverage social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to identify, engage, and convert prospective salon partners or business clients.
  • Initiate and maintain conversations with potential leads, building rapport and trust to drive interest in Aveda partnership opportunities
  • Maintaining consistent follow-up communication to nurture leads into qualified business opportunities.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of compelling digital presentations and customized pitch decks using PowerPoint or other presentation tools.
  • Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and industry conversations to spot potential leads and brand-aligned prospects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and education teams to align messaging, support campaigns, and ensure a seamless lead journey.
  • Use CRM systems to manage and track all leads, interactions, and conversion progress.
  • Conduct competitive research and analyze social and sales data to spot emerging trends and leverage insights.
  • Support virtual and live events, webinars, and activations aimed at attracting new business.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on KPI’s, social outreach metrics, and pipeline status.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of relationships and community-building tactics
  • Computer proficiency including PowerPoint/ability to build strong presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams
  • Ability to work core schedule of Monday through Friday or as business dictates (i.e. some nights & weekends will be necessary).
  • Strong Analytical background with the ability to spot trends and leverage insights
  • Sales or Marketing experience
  • Experience with Social Media platforms
