Dishwashers clean and restock dinnerware, utensils, and glassware and assist other staff members by handling other cleaning and prep tasks.
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to

- Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
- Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
- May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
- Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes.
- Ability to work with various water temperatures.
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisor and/or administration.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to withstand different water temperatures
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hour shifts and lift at least 10 pounds
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions, perform assigned related tasks with minimal supervision.
