About The Role
The Inventory Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory management processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for assisting with the receipt of inventory, rotation of back stock, stocking treatment areas and assisting in the organization of inventory storage. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure that inventory needs are met in a timely manner, contributing to overall operational success. Additionally, the Inventory Assistant will help identify discrepancies and suggest solutions to improve inventory accuracy. Ultimately, this role supports the company's ability to deliver products and services effectively to our clients.
Minimum Qualifications
The required skills for this position, such as attention to detail and organizational abilities, along with a strong willingness to learn, are essential for accurately tracking inventory levels and ensuring that records are up-to-date. Proficiency in inventory management software allows the Inventory Assistant to efficiently manage stock and generate reports that inform decision-makers. Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with team members and other departments to address inventory needs. Additionally, analytical skills are beneficial for identifying trends in inventory usage and making recommendations for improvements. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with supply chain management, can enhance the candidate's ability to contribute to broader operational strategies.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist with monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Assist in the receiving, storing, and distributing of inventory items.
- Assist with conducting regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Collaborate with team members to forecast inventory needs and assist in ordering supplies.
- Prepare reports on inventory status and assist in the development of inventory management strategies.
