Scion Staffing is seekinga visionary Director of Early Childhood Programs for our fantastic client, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting underrepresented communities in the south Florida area.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing Head Start and Early Head Start multi-campus operations (more than 4 campuses), developing budgets, and supervising large teams.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee early childhood and youth programs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional value-added services that foster a safe, caring environment for students. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to compliance with regulatory standards.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong professional teams across multiple locations.Implement Head Start and Early Head Start program curricula and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Manage budgets and financial reporting for various programs.Foster community relationships and partnerships.Supervise staff, including training and development.Ensure continuous quality improvement through data analysis and strategic planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supervisory roles within childcare or youth management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Proven track record in budget management, staff supervision, and program development.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with government funding processes (Head Start and Early Head Start programs) and compliance is advantageous.
  • This role involves frequent travel to multiple locations within a metropolitan area.
  • The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and strong interpersonal skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This onsite role based in Southern Florida, offers a starting salary of $90,000 100,000 (DOE) annually. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Employees also receive paid time off for vacations, holidays, and sick days.
