H 2 O Innovation is looking for a Product Development Engineer – Water Treatment Chemicals to hold a full-time position at the Specialty Chemicals and Lab Services division of H2O Innovation located in Vista, CA. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the technical, sales and service team members.

H 2 O Innovation is looking for a Product Development Engineer – Water Treatment Chemicals to hold a full-time position at the Specialty Chemicals and Lab Services division of H2O Innovation located in Vista, CA. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the technical, sales and service team members.

- Develop methods to suit product development needs;
- Perform simple wet chemistry following provided procedures;
- Operate high-pressure test rigs to produce high-quality water and test chemical products;
- Keep good records of lab work in a lab notebook and prepare report(s) detailing results;
- Assist other members of the research team in their tasks as required;
- Able to write concise customer reports summarizing results of analytical testing;
- Use mental aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, maintain and repair membrane systems;
- Assist in technical publications and presentations;
- Assist, guide and instruct customers in proper selection and application of chemical products;
- MS or PhD in Engineering (Chemical) or Sciences (Chemistry, Materials);
- Previous laboratory or chemicals handling related experience;
- Water treatment chemistry expertise;
- A talent for managing projects & problem-solving;
- Excellent practical hands-on skills;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
- Clear and organized written and verbal communication;
- Rigorous with quality & regulatory compliance;
- Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.;
- Basic understanding of membrane-related water treatment (Asset).
