- Split Shift 7:30am to 10:30am and from 1pm to 4:30pm Monday to Friday**

- Operate the company vehicle to transport clients to and from the Adult Day Health program to doctor appointments, outings, etc.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all clients while in the vehicle.
- To complete all routes as near to schedule as possible and communicate to the facility if there are any anticipated/ actual deviations from schedule.
- To be courteous to all clients, residents, employees, and the public at all times.
- Maintain company vehicles according to company policy.
- Use acceptable transfer techniques in assisting program participants.
- Conduct safety checks and immediately notify the ADH Program Director of any violations/irregularities.
- Provide cleanliness, maintenance of assigned vehicle to insure conformity with safety standards.
- Make appointments as necessary with an authorized repair garage to correct any problems.
- Maintain mileage log on a daily basis indicating time left, destination, time returned and total mileage.
- When not operating the company vehicle, assist program aides in conducting activities, serving meals and other tasks required at the facility.
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have a valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass DOT physical and urine drug screen which includes a testing for Marijuana
- Must be comfortable driving and operating a minivan, passenger van, or wheelchair van
- Must be able to read maps and follow a route
- Ability to relate to adults with disabilities
- Must be punctual, honest and dependable
- Bilingual a plus
- Works in a clean well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures close to others.
- Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
