Join our dynamic team as a Product Development Manager, where you will play a crucial role in facilitating the entire product development lifecycle. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about bringing innovative products to market and gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining effective communication with suppliers, internal teams, and external partners to achieve operational excellence.

- Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Support the development process by liaising with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with external partners to ensure the timely delivery of components and materials, as well as finished goods.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies through daily communication and weekly conference calls. Calls in the evening with vendors as needed in the Asia time zone.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and drive projects forward, monitoring product development projects from initiation to completion.
- Work closely with other departments including sales, marketing, designers, and finance to align development activities with overall business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
- Generate regular status updates for internal stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential roadblocks.
- Act as a liaison between various teams to facilitate effective communication and information flow.
- Schedule and organize meetings to facilitate collaboration, ensuring that project goals and objectives are clearly communicated.
- Contribute to market research activities to identify trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market findings to inform product development strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product design, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in product development, project management, or related roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese to streamline communication with vendors with limited English proficiency a must.
