Occupational Therapist (Full Time) Opportunity at Casper Mountain in Casper, WY
Casper Mountain is seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our client-focused and compassionate team! This role offers a unique in-house opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve greater independence and quality of life through holistic and client-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs as they relate to meaningful daily activities and occupations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, setting realistic short- and long-term goals to enhance clients’ engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Select and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting them to meet each client’s unique needs and abilities.
- Assess and modify home and other environments, recommending adjustments to improve safety, accessibility, and functionality.
- Recommend and provide training on the use of adaptive equipment to promote independence.
- Educate and collaborate with clients, family members, and caregivers to ensure a supportive care environment.
- Monitor, document, and report on clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with current best practices in occupational therapy to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong understanding of therapeutic evaluation and intervention practices.
- Expertise in ADL and IADL assessment tools and treatment approaches.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy and a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
