The Cash Applications Supervisor will be responsible for managing, training and mentoring the cash applications team members. This person is accountable for the teams’ daily responsibilities, which include the appropriate application of customer payments received via electronic (EFT, ACH, credit card) and non-electronic (lockbox) methods. In performing his/her duties, the Cash Applications Supervisor will be responsible for balancing cash on a daily basis, and will support the team as necessary in researching unapplied payments, analyzing complex cash matters and collaborating with other departments within Quench. In addition, this person is expected to stay informed of his/her team’s needs, identify process improvement opportunities and guide the team to be successful.

The Cash Applications Supervisor will be responsible for managing, training and mentoring the cash applications team members. Essential Functions
- Manage and address complex cash application matters in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Process and oversee daily team responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and problem solve cash discrepancies
- Collaborate with other internal teams to address customer concerns both accurately and timely
- Reconcile all daily cash transactions and adjustments
- Review and approve adjustments, credit memos and customer refunds
- Manage, mentor, train and engage team members
- Review, research, and analyze complex cash matters to assist team members
- Perform other process improvement or cash application-related ad hoc projects, as necessary
- Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in cash management or equivalent field
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Understanding of accounting concepts related to billing and cash applications required; undergraduate degree in accounting or business a plus
- Strong leadership skills and prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Extremely organized
- High degree of professional integrity; really cares about getting the right answer
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Zuora billing and order-to-cash software platform experience a plus
