The Child and Family Therapist provides outpatient and home-based family, individual, and play therapy for diverse behavioral health issues.
- Requires knowledge of family systems theory, crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment planning.
- Must have field experience with multi-problem families and ability to work with varied backgrounds.
- Responsibilities include client assessments, developing treatment plans, managing therapy, maintaining records, and coordinating referrals.
- Participation in team activities, training, and community outreach is essential.
- Qualifications include a Masterâ€s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, licensure eligibility, and experience working with clients.
- Strong communication, empathy, and familiarity with electronic health records are required.
- Position involves travel, office and community work, and responding effectively to crises.
