Seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a new dual diagnosis program focused on treating individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Provide medical evaluations and treatment under the supervision of the Medical Director, collaborating with clinical staff.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, participate in developing treatment plans, and assess patients' physical and psychiatric health.
- Chart observations, communicate with team members, involve families, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and support health promotion and disease prevention.
- Qualifications include a Master's in Nursing, board certification, state licensure, DEA license, and preferred minimum one year of psychiatric practice.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patient safety focus.
