Key Competencies
Responsible for database administration, configuration, security, and management. Assumes responsibility for designing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases and Credit Union data warehouses. Provides technical support to Information Technology personnel as needed in accordance with Credit Union established policies and procedures.

Experience
5 or more years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases. Demonstrable, hands-on experience working with SQL databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes. Experience with Symitar including ARCU and EDS products preferred.
Education
Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Information Technology training or certifications considered if combined with experience.

Responsible for database administration, configuration, security, and management. Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Information
- Washington Terrace, Utah
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. On call evenings and weekends for job related issues, as needed.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week

- Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional completion of assigned Database
- Administrator functions within a complex, multi-site, 24/7/365 data center environment
- Monitors and maintains all Credit Union databases and data warehouses, with an emphasis on data
- Effectively interfaces third-party software with existing database infrastructure to meet the Credit
- Works with internal departments and external vendors to design and implement technical solutions
- for the Credit Union’s information reporting and data integration needs
- Troubleshoots, performs root cause analysis, and identifies and isolates technical issues related to
- Performs and validates database backups and recovery
- Provides Tier 3 level technical support for database related problems
- Completes IT functions in accordance with established Credit Union policies and legal requirements
