Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Senior PCBA Layout Engineer to contribute to our mission of developing multi day energy storage for the grid. As part of our module team, you will be involved in analog (40%), power (40%) and digital/hi-speed (20%) board design in collaboration with our team of electronics and mechanical engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

Compensation Range: $128.7K - $168K

Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Senior PCBA Layout Engineer to contribute to our mission of developing multi day energy storage for the grid. As part of our module team, you will be involved in analog (40%), power (40%) and digital/hi-speed (20%) board design in collaboration with our team of electronics and mechanical engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!
What You'll Do
- Own the layout design of mixed signal boards ranging from low level signal to high current, high voltage
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to understand and define PCB design requirements
- Create, review and maintain parts libraries
- Ensuring that all PCB designs comply with industry standards (IPC) and safety regulations (UL)
- Managing and coordinating with vendors and suppliers for PCB fabrication, DFM, DFT reviews
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to PCB designs, including specifications, and technical drawings
- Bachelors of Science, and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in bringing multiple designs to volume production
- 2+ years of Altium Designer suite (essential) and its plugins like PDN analysis
- Own ECAD libraries and component management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, creative thinking
