Summary
Using engineering principles develop products and processes for manufacturing and sales support. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through a designee. Facilitates troubleshooting and process improvements in all Plants.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering related field, in addition to five+ years of related manufacturing experience is required. Thorough technical understanding of production equipment, facility equipment, and utilities. Has command of proper engineering practices and procedures. Computer skills required for multiple graphs, reports and charts. Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

- Engineers / manages process improvements/ machine specifications consistent with company sales strategy.
- Manages all new part setup, supplies information to finance for costing, keep up inventory of dies in LN (ERP system)
- Prepares proposals and executes planned projects, including, determining time frames, funding, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
- Develops / improves process/machine reliability, to meet performance consistency and cost effectiveness.
- Produces details of specifications and outline designs.
- Directs and coordinates project activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Prepares project reports for management.
- Confers with all personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
