Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated maintenance team at Verrazano Nursing Home, a nursing home facility committed to providing exceptional care for our residents. In this role, you will perform a variety of hands-on maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and comfortable for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and handyman tasks, including drywall repair, snaking drains, minor plumbing, and other facility upkeep duties.
• Work collaboratively with our maintenance team to address repair needs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols specific to a nursing home environment.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a maintenance technician or handyman, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in skills such as drywall repair, snaking drains, and basic facility maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Keeps a clean and presentable hygiene
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
