This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
Onsite (Spirit Site - multiple building locations at Wichita, KS site)
Work Schedule: FT
Shifts
First Shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Second Shift - 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Third Shift - 10:30 PM - 6 AM
Overtime: Yes, based on business needs. Position also required to work every other weekend (avg 2 weekends a month)

- Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
- Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, crawling, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting for extended period of time if needed.
- Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
- Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
- Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
- Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically as required
- Ability to complete necessary certification and safety training, on and off sites
- Ability to work any shift including morning, evening, nights and weekends as required
- Previous quality experience is required.
