Travel Nurse (RN) Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med Surg - Flr 6 48's

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48 hrs/week

Length: 15 Weeks

Weekend Requirement: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period- travelers are utilized to fill in gaps

Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need

Requirements

• ID license
• 2 years of MedSurg experience
• Must be able to read and interpret tele/own strips
• Must have EPIC experience
• BLS
  
  

Other Details

• Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
• Must be willing to take students, may be precept new travelers- please note on interview they are willing
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients : Primarily a Medical floor with a little surgical overflow. Respiratory, GI, anything medical that you wouldn't do surgery on, behavioral health- if pts been in ER for more than 1 day will room up here to work on d/c plan
• # of Beds: 42
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5 occasional 1:6-very rarely happens
• Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit
• This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles
