Chief Operating Officer (Integrator)

Role Summary:
We’re seeking a Chief Operating Officer (Integrator) to own the execution of our agency’s vision. As the COO, you will lead the day-to-day operations, streamline processes, oversee creative delivery, and act as the central bridge between clients, account managers, and creative contractors. You’ll work closely with the CEO (Visionary) to bring strategic initiatives to life through systems, people, and accountability. This role is vital to ensuring our clients receive excellence and our internal team operates with focus and flow. This is a full-time independent contractor role, meaning you will not be offered insurance or personal time off (PTO) benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate the Vision: Translate the CEO’s vision into actionable plans, priorities, and outcomes using EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles.
- Operations Oversight: Own and continuously improve agency operations, project workflows, and client delivery processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support account managers, creative contractors, and other team members to ensure aligned execution and accountability.
- Process Optimization: Audit, implement, and refine internal tools and processes (e.g., Monday.com, Canva, SOPs) to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Client Experience Management: Ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience by monitoring delivery timelines, communication standards, and feedback loops.
- KPI and Performance Reporting: Track performance metrics and report to the CEO with insights and recommendations.
- Culture and Values: Foster a high-performance, values-driven culture that supports our mission and empowers our people.

- Account managers and creatives are clear on expectations and consistently deliver on time.
- Projects move efficiently through a standardized and visible process.
- Clients feel confident, informed, and well cared for.
- You anticipate challenges, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements without being asked.
- The CEO is freed up to focus on growth and vision with full trust in execution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations leadership, preferably within a marketing or creative agency.
- Deep understanding of EOS or willingness to quickly learn and implement it.
- Skilled in project and task management platforms (Monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams with clarity and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- A heart for mission-driven work and alignment with our values.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working with federal clients or in regulated industries.
- Familiarity with tools like Teams, Monday.com, and Canva.
- Strong copywriting or creative direction background is a plus.
