You will be responsible for connecting the operational side of the business with the commercial side, ensuring that products can be efficiently supplied, manufactured, and delivered to market. Oversee the management and optimization of the commercial supply chain .

Business Execution

  • Develop and implement business initiatives for our CCS products to drive market growth and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including emerging trends, customer needs, and potential partnerships.
  • Establish long-term strategic goals for the CCS business, focusing on revenue growth, market share expansion, and innovation.
  • Develop strategies to grow the connection between Research portfolio and clinical and commercial supply.
  • Develop and/or support the building of business cases to support growth of the business.

Communication

  • Communicate near future customer and market demands to operations via S&OP
  • Communicating regular updates of the PD and manufacturing capacity and lead times for CSS projects to Project managers/sales team-dashboard.
  • Responsible for organizing monthly opportunity review and prioritization plus build, manage and share a GMP NPI prioritization process and dashboard.

Sales And Marketing

  • Collaborate with the I&I and marketing teams to develop effective marketing campaigns, promotional strategies, and sales tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Present at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to represent the company's offerings.
  • Coordinate and lead quarterly business (QBR) review meetings with Regional Sales teams.
  • Identify conferences to attend.
  • Accountable for pricing and annual price increases for GMP products.
  • Oversee the development of proposals for custom/CDMO opportunities, map, report, and follow status of CDMO opportunities.
  • Responsible for holding regularly cadenced sales meetings with the various regions.
  • Sales pipeline reporting and coordination between Sales and operations.

Financial Management

  • Provide input to the CCS annual budget, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial targets.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales, profitability, and return on investment (ROI), and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of products and initiatives, making data-driven decisions for future planning.
  • Build and maintain an analytics dashboard for the CCS business.
  • Monthly reporting of CCS opportunities, sales and activities.
  • Annual and quarterly Forecasting for CCS products and services, in coordination with sales to ensure sufficient inventory levels, reduced lead times and reduce supply chain risks.

Regulatory Compliance And Risk Management

  • Ensure that all products and business practices comply with relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and industry standards.
  • Manage any risks associated with product development and market entry, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from customers to continuously improve products and services.

Business Excellence

  • Coordinate with IT/Sales Ops/finance to identify and implement CRM functions that better support the business.
  • Work with Sales leadership to implement CRM function utilization monitoring and compliance-KPI report.
  • Develop and present regular reports on CRM metrics including customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Champion and support SAP integration of the Alabaster site.
  • Work with Portfolio Manager to set and maintain product stock levels to ensure availability.

  • Degree in chemistry or other technical discipline.
