Job Purpose
To provide IT support to students enrolled in the training courses offered at our institution. This position is responsible for loading and transporting multiple laptops from the imaging lab to the classroom; perform trouble shooting techniques to remedy issues students may encounter while in session; and assist with control processes.

To provide IT support to students enrolled in the training courses offered at our institution. This position is responsible for loading and transporting multiple laptops from the imaging lab to the classroom; perform trouble shooting techniques to remedy issues students may encounter while in session; and assist with control processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks to meet all scheduled IT support requirements.
- Perform system imaging and deployment of laptops and desktops to ensure standardized configurations for student use.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues reported by students, providing resolution or escalation as necessary.
- Reset and manage user passwords in accordance with security protocols and access policies.
- Maintain and update the IT inventory management database to accurately track all hardware assets, including laptops, peripherals, and support equipment.
- Safely load, unload, and transport laptops and related equipment between storage, classrooms, and other designated locations.
- Conduct technical orientation and IT briefings for student classes of up to 280 individuals, ensuring clear communication of available resources, policies, and procedures.
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in IT support, help desk operations, or a technical user support role.
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time while performing equipment setup, troubleshooting, or support tasks.
- Physical capability to lift and carry equipment weighing between 20–25 pounds, including laptops, printers, and support gear.
- Ability to stoop, bend, and kneel as needed to install, connect, or troubleshoot hardware components in various environments.
