POSITION SUMMARY

The Payment Operations Specialist will focus on billing and reconciling. They will work with Deposit Services, Information Services, and Prepaid Client Relations and Prepaid clients to coordinate prepaid operational items. They will focus on operational situations involving client billing and accounts receivable.

Essential Functions

  • Perform data entry, validation, and account reconciliation
  • Facilitate transfers as needed for billing and accounting purposes
  • Prepare all monthly statements for prepaid partners per contractual obligations
  • Assist in the movement of funds between prepaid owned accounts when there are adjustments
  • Review and split out network invoices by program manager to pass through the appropriate costs
  • Provide all monthly reporting to Card Networks as necessary.
  • Participate in payments program onboarding meetings.
  • Work with Deposit Operation team to resolve outstanding ACH items.
  • Print, mail and decision payments refund checks
  • Manage the research of accounts that are out of balance or items past due 90 days.
  • Assist in the setting up of funds movement for new program implementations
  • Respond to all incoming emails to Prepaid Billing and Prepaid Operations mailboxes
  • Prepare for or provide requested documentation or information for Audit purposes
  • Ensure procedures are documented for payment operations responsibilities.

  • Complete special projects and perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by management.

Education & Experience

  • High school degree or GED Required
  • College degree in business related field preferred
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks daily
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Five (5) year accounting or operations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Experience in the Prepaid, Payments, financial industry or accounting preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of bank accounting practices and principles of internal controls preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

Annualized salary range: $50,000 - 90,000 annually, dependent on qualifications.
