Summary
Responsible for instructing students to develop proficient skills that
will contribute to their academic growth in appropriate subject areas
in coordination with current curriculum and within the framework of District
and state content standards. Work with teachers to design methods of
learning that are most appropriate for each child, by addressing the
specific needs of a particular child through intensive learning sessions.

- Instruct students in large, small and one-on-one situations.
- Administer, edit, proofread, and grade students' assignments and
- Create a classroom environment which maximizes instructional opportunity,
educational settings, and administer discipline when appropriate.
- Assist teachers with diagnosing intervention needs and coordinate lesson
students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways and use the data to
give meaningful feedback and modify instruction.
- Monitor student growth and progress, adapt support as needed, and

- Consult frequently with classroom teachers on students' progress.

- Bachelor's degree with proper teaching licensure program required.
- Experience instructing students in a classroom setting
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- Valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements
- CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
