About The Role

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The role requires a capable and highly driven individual with the desire to learn and grow in fast paced environment. This role will have varying responsibilities in general ledger accounting, compliance, operational accounting, and will be a large contributor to the success of our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform book-keeping for India and US entities regularly
  • Maintain financial records and documentation
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Perform daily cash application for customer deposits
  • Manage prepaids and fixed asset schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Assist with coding vendor payables
  • General ledger account analysis
  • Review expense reports and assist with timely expense recording using Concur
  • Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal processes and controls
  • Assist with sales and use tax filings and compliance of India and US entities
  • Assist with financial audits and compliance audits as needed
  • Assist with additional ad hoc requests and projects for the department

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Effective analytical skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, time management and prioritization skills necessary to be effective in a fast-paced work environment
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit, cooperative attitude, and ability to work across multiple departments
  • Experience with Tally, NetSuite, and Concur software is preferred
