Position Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing IT and infrastructure projects for our clients. This role ensures that projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong communication and collaboration among team members and clients. The Project Coordinator will focus on managing tasks such as workstation deployments, software rollouts, hardware installations, and other IT initiatives that align with client needs.

Experience

  • At least 1-3 years of project coordination experience required
  • Previous experience in information technology or other related fields required.
  • Experience using ConnectWise or other ticketing, incident management or project management applications.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the progress of multiple IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including scope, schedules, meeting notes, and status reports.
  • Perform post project QA, Lessons Learned, and obtain stakeholder signoff.
  • Assist in resource allocation and scheduling for project tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
  • Address client concerns promptly and escalates issues when necessary.
  • Regularly update internal systems and project tracking tools.
  • Work closely with Project Engineers, Deployment Engineers, and other staff to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with facilitating weekly project meetings to ensure alignment among team members.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with other departments to deliver seamless client experience.
  • Build templates and leverage automation for efficient project delivery
  • Follow established project management methodologies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and propose improvements to enhance project workflows and efficiency.
  • Local travel on-site to client locations required for project oversight.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred).

Certifications and Licenses

  • CompTIA Project + or PMP preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
