Job Summary

The Supply Coordinators’ main responsibilities are to manage the flow of all assigned produce items both internal and externally procured from either domestic or imported sources. This position reports directly to the Chief Supply Officer under the supervision of the Supply Manager and will also work closely with the Chief Performance Officer.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with procurement, sales and logistics to ensure timely delivery of product to multiple locations.
• Facilitate the development of new suppliers in collaboration with quality assurance in order to help them to reach the level of excellence required by company standards
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to supply product in accordance with the organization’s requirements like quality, contract compliance, and accuracy among others
• Facilitate the flow of paperwork for supply managers through the purchasing process.
• Proficient in entering PO’s
• Monitor daily quality inspection reports with the Director of Quality Assurance.
• Work closely with the Sales division to ensure all product and quality levels are maintained and acceptable.
• Assist the supply manager with preparing update reports of volume, price, and availability for weekly review of their assigned commodity.
• Assist the Supply Manager with the selection of growers and shippers who meet Pero’s Food Safety requirements such as Primus Labs, HAACP programs, third party audits by companies or agencies to ensure full traceability of product
• Work with transportation and logistics to ensure the shipping and arrival of the product runs smoothly
  
  

Required Experience And Training

• Production Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Industry Experience.
• Experience in procurement and/or transportation is plus
• Computer skills:
• Basics: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Office
• Industry Specific: Famous
• Strong experience with data entry and computer systems
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven success in communication skills
