About the role...

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Sales Sub Rep. to provide support to our sales team. This role will cover a 6-month maternity leave period, ensuring seamless sales operations, customer service support, and marketing coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Order Management:

• Allocate and release orders for timely shipping.
• Notify sales team of styles past cancel dates and propose extensions.
• Chase purchase orders (POs) and electronic data interchange (EDI) updates.
• Generate return authorizations (RAs), credit memos, and shipping labels.
• Make necessary adjustments to orders in M3.

Sales Support & Account Management:

• Process orders, track changes, and communicate with customers to resolve issues.
• Assist with data entry and sales order processing for retailers.
• Review account open order files and follow up to receive outstanding POs.
• Generate reports on account sales performance (End of Month, Quarterly).

Marketing & Merchandising Coordination:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide missing imagery for retailer websites, store POP, and social media content.
• Coordinate product samples for line showings and special events.
• Support merchandising initiatives by remerchandising major account floor sets (e.g., Macy’s, Tilly’s, Hudson), as scheduling allows.

Event & Tradeshow Assistance:

• Prepare materials and support logistics for tradeshows and industry events.

Requirements:

• Experience in sales support or customer service preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in M3 or similar order management systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
