We are seeking a dedicated Staffing Coordinator to be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for the nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility standards.

Staffing Coordinator Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Prior staff scheduling experience in healthcare preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong understanding of nursing staffing needs and forecasting
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Ability to implement and interpret department policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able and willing to work as a CNA when short-staffed


As a Skilled Staffing Coordinator, You Will:

  • Schedule facility staff at appropriate levels as determined by the Director of Nursing (DON)
  • Prepare shift schedules and clearly communicate assignments to staff
  • Ensure compliance with state staffing requirements and forecast future staffing needs
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward residents and staff
  • Assist in emergency evacuations as needed
  • Demonstrate dependability and regular attendance
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and reach intermittently during work hours
