Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing month end and ad hoc reports, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts. This role supports the company by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial documentation, accounting compliance, and general accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly performance and trend reports
• Prepare account analyses and perform account reconciliations
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
• Help maintain internal controls and process improvements
• Support tax and other regulatory report preparation and filings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1-5 years previous experience in accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic tax principals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, AIM).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize effectively.
