E-commerce Fulfillment Assistant

Catbird is looking for a full-time Fulfillment Assistant to join our our Warehouse Fulfillment team. Must be able to work during operating hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekends during the holiday season will be required. Hourly rate is $21/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship e-commerce and retail orders using a handheld device
• Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize time sensitive tasks
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Assembly and prep work (build boxes, label and package product, kit gifts)
• Maintain KPIs while ensuring fulfillment accuracy
• Be willing and able to train seasonal employees during the holiday season
• Assist in physical inventory and cycle counts
• Keep a clean and organized work station; replenish stock supplies as needed
• Develop familiarity and knowledge of the company's product line, and quality standards
• Ability to recognize order and item issues (including count and quality variances) and report it to leadership team
• Adhere to our time and attendance policy
• Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by leadership team
  
  
  

Our Ideal Candidate

• Great at (and enjoy!) making a pretty package quickly
• Detail-oriented, with the ability and patience to work with small + delicate items
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others, while fostering a warm team environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours a day
• Warehouse experience and/or jewelry knowledge is a plus!
• Must be available for early shifts at BNY; start times vary- as early as 8:30 a.m. and as early as 7:30 a.m. during holiday season
• MUST be available from Thanksgiving through Christmas (Please do not apply if you know you will be away during that time)
