As the General Manager, you will report to the VP of Texas Operations and play a pivotal role in driving business growth and customer retention within the aggregate industry. With a deep understanding of local dry bulk movements and construction services, you will lead all aspects of the business, from managing the P&L and driving sales to overseeing delivery and operations. Success in this role requires a motivated, resilient leader who is a good listener, empathetic, and dedicated to cultivating strong customer and vendor relationships while fostering a collaborative team environment.

- Leadership Team - This role provides valuable insight to the Leadership Team as they continue to plan for future growth and development of the business.
- Sales & Account Management Team - By driving operational excellence, optimizing delivery processes, and providing the necessary resources, you empower the sales and account management teams to exceed customer expectations, close deals, and retain valuable clients.
- Operations & Safety Team - The General Manager must maintain a reciprocal relationship with the Operations & Safety Team by providing job details, specifics and insights to the members of the Operations & Safety Team for them to execute effectively.
- Accounting & Finance Team - The General Manager will partner with the Accounting & Finance department when it comes to setting up new accounts, payment collections, forecasting, etc.

Drive profitability and ensure financial health by effectively managing the P&L, controlling costs, and optimizing revenue streams.
- Monitor and manage the P&L statement for brands in our Texas market, ensuring profitability and financial growth.
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize expenses and increase profit margins.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure that all financial goals align with the overall company strategy and objectives.
- Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands market share within the territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
- Work closely with the sales and account management teams to align goals and strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging and approach.
- Regularly engage with key customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and build long-term relationships.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
- Oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Continuously assess and improve operational workflows to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure that all operational activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with the technology team to integrate and utilize technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead a team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they reach their full potential.

- Collaborate with other General Managers and senior leadership to share best practices and drive company-wide improvements.
- Act as a champion for NewMile, ensuring adoption and effective use within the territory.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience within the aggregate, construction, logistics, or related industry.
- Proven track record in P&L management, sales growth, and operational oversight.
- Experience managing large teams and driving performance in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, with a focus on retention and expansion.
- In-depth knowledge of operational processes, including logistics, production, supply chain management, and quality control.
- Ability to implement best practices that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, results-driven culture and lead by example.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis.
