What you will do in this role:

• Oversees the UR department, ensuring staff has completed all assignments and monitors performance.
• Ensures all pre-certification are completed for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Ensures all re-certifications are completed for inpatient and outpatient servcies and reports status to the CEO or delegate.
• Monitors hospital LOS and reports appropriately.
• Participates in treatment teams to ensure staff have knowledge of coverage and to collect information for communication with agencies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and current clinical license strongly preferred
• Previous utilization management experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred
• Current unencumbered clinical license strongly preferred
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime, travel up to 80%
