As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end oversight of assigned customer accounts, including order processing, issue resolution, inventory tracking, and management of customer-supplied materials. This role requires close coordination with internal departments to ensure timely production, shipment, and billing in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive communicator with 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or contract services account management.

  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients, project managers, and internal sales representatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, proactively addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and communicating delays or risks in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments (Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Logistics) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints by coordinating with relevant departments and delivering timely, professional communication to clients.
  • Review and validate purchase orders for pricing accuracy, special requirements, delivery terms, and production exceptions.
  • Enter and monitor orders in ERP systems (e.g., ProcessPro) and ensure alignment across internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for customer accounts, including order confirmations, Certificates of Analysis, shipping records, and other account-specific data.
  • Work with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to transition new items into steady-state account management.
  • Provide routine updates to clients on order status, inventory availability, and other performance indicators.
  • Utilize internal platforms such as CRM, Monday.com, QCBD, ProcessPro, ICRM, and customer portals to manage data and communication workflows.
  • Track and manage customer-supplied materials and finished goods, ensuring proper storage, usage, and shipment according to production schedules.
  • Verify billing accuracy for finished goods, component overages, testing fees, and expedite charges in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Analyze account performance data, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP regulations, and documentation protocols.
  • Stay informed on current industry best practices and company policies to ensure service excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment in line with company safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager or senior leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in account management, customer service, or project coordination is strongly preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of account management or customer-facing experience in a contract manufacturing environment, preferably in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, personal care, or other regulated consumer goods industries.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client accounts and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ERP and CRM system experience required (e.g., ProcessPro, Monday.com).

Base Salary Range: $68,640.00 – $74,000.00 per year, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
