Job Summary
Supervises coordinates and participates in activities of employees performing routine standardized biological and biochemical tests as well as more complex procedures on blood that assist physicians in the diagnosis and clinical management of patients. Assumes responsibility for recognizing results or problems that require referral to Medical Director or Laboratory Director or Manager. Performs additional tasks as requested by the Chair of Pathology or his designee.

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Blood Bank
- Knowledge of specialized principles and techniques in Blood Banking which would normally be obtained through formal academic training and experience
- Registry with a recognized board of registry for medical technologies such as American Society of Clinical Pathologist
- Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology preferred
