Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Ownership of quality assurance and control for assigned supply chain, customer and products/process areas:
- Problem resolution, assist in investigations and resolve quality issues related to supplier materials and components. Collaborate with suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation related to supplier quality root cause and corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the customer/supplier quality team. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices in supplier processes.
- Collaboration with both external & internal teams, including procurement, engineering, and production, to ensure supplier quality aligns with company requirements. Facilitate communication and collaboration between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Acts as a resource for customer/supplier quality team for activities including but not limited to First Article Inspection Reviews, PO Standard Remarks, Receiving Inspection Problem Resolution, Partial Releases, and Return Material Authorizations.
- Associate's degree or High school Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain.
- Analytical skills and knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
