We are growing & looking for an Operations Analyst to join our Innovations Team. This person will focus on designing and implementing process improvements in our ecommerce operations and work with our software development group managing operations projects. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the warehouse processing centers regarding material handling systems, facilities improvement, ergonomic design, production methods and procedures, and systems development. The position will have a strong emphasis on increasing production and fulfillment efficiency, accuracy, and safety through improved methods, equipment, and process improvements. This position will also work with our software development group in designing software enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting in our processing centers.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform & manage work measurement program.
  • Optimize current processes within the processing center through the development and implementation of improved procedures, systems, and equipment.
  • Develop cost benefit analyses and financial models to support the processing center's requirements, designs, and alternative selections to existing systems.
  • Act as the primary contact for the software development (Operations Engineering) to design, test, schedule, and implement projects within the processing centers.
  • Develop and maintain labor standards and the productivity monitoring system for the processing center as needed.
  • Manage capital improvement projects, including the development and execution of plans to support additional product lines or increased store volume and the development of estimates for the equipment, systems, and personnel needed to complete various projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of job performance instructions.
  • Research ergonomic and safety issues in the facility; make improvements as needed.
  • Provide technical support to the Maintenance, Operations, and Information Services groups located in the processing center.

What You Need (Job Requirements)

  • Industrial Engineering Degree or Equivalent
  • Managerial experience preferred
  • Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis and/or auditing techniques.
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • SQL experience
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Knowledge of the link between analysis and business impact.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
  • Managing software development projects using Agile methodology preferred

Travel: 25% - 50% travel depending on business needs

Location: This position is hybrid, working in our Processing Centers & remote. You must reside in a state where a processing center is located (AZ, TX, IL, GA or MD).
