We are seeking an Applications Engineer (AE) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support the development of technical and cost-effective process solutions, provide bid and proposal support, and act as a key technical resource for our Regional Sales Managers. The AE will play a vital role in ensuring proposals are accurate and aligned with customer and internal requirements, contributing directly to our continued success.

We are seeking an Applications Engineer (AE) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support the development of technical and cost-effective process solutions, provide bid and proposal support, and act as a key technical resource for our Regional Sales Managers. The AE will play a vital role in ensuring proposals are accurate and aligned with customer and internal requirements, contributing directly to our continued success.
- Design and size process solutions tailored to customer needs
- Prepare technical bids and proposals for Centrisys product offerings
- Participate in risk reviews for proposed designs and processes
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, engineering consultants, and customers
- Ensure all solutions conform to contract specifications and technical drawings
- Develop and maintain proposal templates, reference lists, and design spreadsheets
- Process and write up incoming orders, reconciling any discrepancies in scope, pricing, or delivery
- Source vendor quotes to support accurate and competitive project budgeting
- Prepare kickoff packages and documentation for internal project execution
- Analyze completed project cost data to inform future proposals
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or Civil required); Master’s degree preferred
- 3-5 Years of engineering experience or relevant technical field
- Strong background in process engineering and wastewater treatment technologies
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (reviewing P&ID/PFD drawings)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
