Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a well-established commercial construction company in the Yuba-Sutter area. Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintendent with daily on-site operations and workflow
- Coordinate subcontractors, crews, and materials to keep projects on schedule
- Monitor job progress and report updates to the project management team
- Ensure safety procedures and OSHA standards are enforced at all times
- Maintain organized, clean, and secure job sites
- Support quality control and compliance with project specifications
- Help identify and resolve field issues as they arise
- Communicate effectively with field teams, vendors, and project stakeholders
- 2+ years of construction field leadership (Lead, Foreman, or Assistant Superintendent role)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Familiarity with site scheduling, materials coordination, and safety procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and around active job sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional construction training is a plus)
$20.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
