Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production and packaging operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of packaging materials.
- Collaborate with quality control to maintain product integrity and address any issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce production procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure they are in optimal condition.
- Fill in, as needed, on the line to assist the team.
- Proven experience leading teams as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to work Saturday.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification (e.g., HACCP) and education is a plus.
