Job Summary

The Sr Coordinator of Education is responsible for coordinating and supporting the LPGA Professionals continuing education, educational programs and member experience. This role is key in ensuring that members receive high-quality services, including program registration, continuing education tracking, and the facilitation of both online and in-person educational initiatives. The Sr Coordinator works closely with the membership team and educational leaders to promote growth, engagement, and member satisfaction.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Educational Program Management:

  • Coordinate educational programs, including workshops, seminars, certifications, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Facilitate course registration processes, monitor course attendance, and track continuing education (CE) credits for members.
  • Work with instructors, industry experts, and internal teams to schedule, organize, and ensure smooth delivery of educational sessions.
  • Assist with the maintenance of course content, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure course content in the LMS is up-to-date.
  • Ensure members are informed of upcoming educational opportunities and encourage participation through effective communication.
  • Lead member onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new members, including processing applications and updating records.

Strategic Planning And Member Development

  • Assist in the creation and execution of strategies to improve member engagement and satisfaction, aligning with organizational goals and educational needs.
  • Evaluate membership and education programs regularly to assess effectiveness, implement improvements, and ensure alignment with member needs.
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback from members to assess educational programs, identifying areas for growth and opportunities for innovation.

Administrative Support

  • Manage logistics for educational events, including coordinating with speakers, organizing materials, and overseeing event setup and breakdown.
  • Maintain records of all educational activities and membership data, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments and committees such as marketing and event planning, to support cross-functional initiatives and maintain a seamless member experience.

Membership Services And Engagement

  • Assist with daily operations related to membership services, ensuring members receive timely support for inquiries, payments, renewals, and certification questions.
  • Utilize membership databases, ensuring accurate records and providing regular membership updates to leadership.
  • Coordinate communication and outreach efforts to promote membership benefits, retention, and growth.

Qualifications

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in education, business, or related field required
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in program coordination, membership services, adult education, or a related field-ideally in a nonprofit, association, or sports/education setting.
  • Understanding of or exposure to the golf industry, coaching/teaching certification pathways, or sport education preferred.
  • LPGA Professionals or PGA of America membership preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistical processes (e.g., scheduling, registration, content delivery, and tracking) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience working directly with members or clients, showing a strong service orientation and the ability to manage relationships across diverse audiences.
  • Proven success in supporting or delivering continuing education, certification, or professional development programs.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to members, partners, and internal teams.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), member management platforms (e.g., CRM or AMS tools), and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
