As the Business Analyst, supporting Quality and Operational Enablement within Optum Financial, you’ll work with one of the top teams in the business and find yourself digging deep to find solutions to help people live healthier lives. You’ll be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and forecasting data for operational and business planning to impact the health care system. What could be more satisfying than that? Join us!
The Business Analyst will leverage their expertise to deliver a portfolio of reports and support Quality and Operational Excellence activities. You will be the primary point of contact for quality and operational data. You will incorporate your data analytics and process improvement knowledge to deliver reports and insight that improves customer experience and provides business value to the organization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and report complex data
- Support data presentations and speak to the data from a quality assurance viewpoint
- Present analysis and recommendations for operational and business review
- Support short-term business operational activities through analysis
- Develop and recommend business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
- Diagnose ongoing process improvement opportunities, develop solutions with your peers
Required Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures (i.e. Tableau, SQL queries)
- Working knowledge of establishing business metrics and measurement standards
- Proven ability to establish and track reporting requirements in a Data Reporting Playbook
- Demonstrated ability to use data to create a cohesive narrative
- Proven ability to coordinate the data ingestion from cross-functional teams
- Data analytics certification or related coursework
- 2+ years of experience in call center operations and/or quality assurance operations
- 2+ years of experience in operations and/or business analysis
